Services

From your initial free consultation we will begin to build a comprehensive understanding of your history. When we have a full understanding of your needs you will have a personal recovery and enhancement programme designed especially for you. If we cannot help with your particular problem, we will help to find someone who can.

The first session we have with you is a very detailed fact finding session. You will be asked lots of questions. Some may appear to be irrelevant to you, but the purpose is to be as accurate as possible in establishing the exact cause of your problem. This means we can give you an indication at your first session of how much treatment you are likely to need in order to get you back to health and to be better than ever.

Everyone has different problems and different aims in life. Whether you are training to climb Kilimanjaro, or want to be able to play with your grandchildren, we work with you to provide a sensible route forward which will be fun and fulfilling.

We work with you to treat a wide variety of conditions affecting the joints, muscles and nerves. These include neck and back injuries or pain, sports injuries, arm and shoulder injuries, hip and leg injuries.

At Mend we can also rehabilitate joints following surgery and help you to restore mobility.

Services for Companies

Mend Physio provides a comprehensive occupational health physiotherapy service for companies, either on site or at our premises. This means we can help you keep your staff well at work and help reduce unnecessary or prolonged staff absences from work. We also provide the benefit of regular communication with management or occupational health teams on particular cases so you can help staff with their recovery.

An early referral to a physiotherapist can make sure your staff get the right help and give them the best support for their recovery from injuries or illness.

Our physiotherapists provide:

  • Assessment and diagnosis services to make sure staff are comfortable at work
  • Treatment and rehabilitation services for staff that have injuries or problems that affect their ability to work
  • Advice and education to prevent workplace problems
  • Advice on managing conditions for staff with problems which affect their work or their ability to work

Our physiotherapists are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. They all specialise in the management of musculoskeletal conditions. We have staff who are experts in occupational health and ergonomics.

Recovery from Surgery

Many of our clients come to us because they are getting over an operation. The NHS is great at dealing with crisis and once you are home you may well find you need help and professional support to get back to your previous levels of fitness.
